The plan to apply for governmental grants for the development of the institution has been an important part of strategic plan. The Swami Vivekananda Govt. P.G. College, Harda (MP)  religiously follows government policies and plans to bring excellence in higher education and to raise and ensure quality standards. The mobilization of financial resources is of importance for the growth of an institution. Under RUSA, Swami Vivekananda Govt. P.G. College, Harda (MP) received first grant of Rs 2 crore. The fund received was utilized under the following heads:

35% – New Construction
35% – Renovation
30% – Apparatus and equipment

Project Implementation Unit supervised new constructions, renovation works and equipment purchase, etc, as follows:

• Online counseling center (G+1)
• Pathway to connect four main blocks – A, B, P, H.
• Under renovation – Abhivyakti Block was upgraded; all the washrooms in the campus were renovated and upgraded; computer lab upgraded.

➢ Amount utilized: Rs 1.00crore.

• Apparatus and Equipment:
• Department of Psychology –Rs 90,000
• Department of Geography – Rs1,90,000
• Sports – Rs2,05,000
• Purchase of computers – 50All-in-one’s
• Furniture for office use – Almirahs, tables, chairs etc.

➢ Overall utilization – Rs5,00,000
• Mini Projector and e-white board – Rs6.00 lakh
• Electric appliances including 12 A/Cs – Rs7.00 lakh
• A new conference room in RUSA block with modal Audio, Video done for rupees 8 lacks The utilization certificate of RUSA is submitted to the state level.
